There are various ways to integrate stand-ups into your daily work routine. This can be in the form of daily or weekly stand-up meetings.
Stand-ups are not reporting meetings, but rather are for sharing, networking and planning. For stand-ups, current tasks can be discussed and planned (who is working on what, what else needs to be done).
Stand-ups (whether daily or weekly) are public and everyone is welcome to join. Thus, urgent tasks/topics from other teams can be addressed quickly and easily. In general, the stand-up meetings should be short and no longer than 15/20 minutes.
Extra tip: Stand-ups should always take place at the same time/date. It makes sense to do the stand-ups at the beginning of the day/week. That way, the day/week can be started with structure and motivation!
